If something is wrong with your order, email us at orders@darkspace.press before contacting your bank or card company. We can almost always fix it faster.
Physical books
- Unsigned books can be returned within 30 days of delivery in unused, resellable condition.
- Signed, personalized, custom-autographed, and lip-print editions are made for you and are final sale, except as described under Damaged, defective, or wrong items.
- For change-of-mind returns, you pay return shipping.
Damaged, defective, or wrong items
Report the problem within 14 days of delivery and include a photo of the item (and the packaging, if it was damaged in transit). We will send a replacement or refund your purchase. If we need the item back, we pay the return shipping.
Lost packages
If tracking has not updated for 14 days (US) or 30 days (international), contact us and we will replace or refund your order. If tracking shows the package as delivered but you do not have it, please check with neighbors and the carrier first, then contact us and we will help with a carrier claim.
Ebooks and audiobooks
Digital products cannot be returned, so they are non-refundable once delivered. If a file is defective or never arrives, contact us and we will fix it or refund you.
Merchandise
Merchandise, including made-to-order items, can be returned or refunded only for printing defects, damage, or a wrong item, reported within 14 days of delivery with a photo.
International orders
Customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees charged by your country are your responsibility and are not refundable.
How to start a return or claim
Email orders@darkspace.press with your order number and a description of the problem. We will reply with instructions and the return address. Please do not send items back without contacting us first.
Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 business days of receiving your return, or of approving your claim when no return is needed. Your bank may take a few additional days to post the credit. Original shipping charges are refunded only when the return is due to our error.
